Jonathon Griffiths
Managing director
Jonathon co-founded Vertu Group with a clear vision: to provide quality, world renowned products at industry leading value, all while not compromising on quality and service. Under his leadership, Vertu has rapidly grown into a well known and regarded heavy equipment dealerships, offering brands like SANY, SITRAK, and Yutong.
With backgrounds in both corporate & entrepreneurism combined with a hands-on approach, Jonathon is deeply involved in all aspects of the business, ensuring that Vertu Group delivers not just top-tier machinery but also unmatched customer support. He believes that the right equipment is only part of the solution – with genuine after-sales care and strong relationships with customers just as crucial.
Jonathon has forged strong partnerships with OEMs, working closely with these companies to introduce and continuously develop product offerings. His commitment to innovation, reliability, and long-term customer success drives Vertu Group’s mission to redefine what customers expect from a dealer/distributor of Chinese capital products.

Group financial controller & operations
As the Group Financial Controller and Head of Operations at Vertu Group, Yan is responsible for streamlining operations and operational processes while maintaining strong financial management. With a strategic and detail oriented approach (managing to stay across an incredible amount of detail), she ensures the company runs efficiently, implementing systems that enhance productivity and drive sustainable growth.
Yan also leads Vertu’s accounting team, overseeing financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
With a focus on continuous improvement, Yan works closely with all departments to refine workflows, enhance internal structures, and support business development. Her leadership ensures that Vertu Group remains agile, organised, and streamlined as it continues to grow in the heavy equipment and transport industries.
