SANY Group is set to introduce five innovative small excavator models featuring enhanced functionality and performance in 2024. The SY60C, SY75C, SY80U, SY95C, and SY135C, tailored for international markets, have been successfully manufactured at SANY’s industry park in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. This achievement signifies a significant milestone in SANY’s global product strategy.
In an effort to bolster SANY’s competitive edge in international markets, the company conducted extensive surveys and research based on feedback from markets outside China. In July, SANY introduced Plan H, also known as the High-Quality Plan (HQP), encompassing both product development and quality improvement initiatives.
Chen Jiayuan, CEO of SANY Heavy Machine, a division of SANY Heavy Industry, emphasised the company’s international market strategy, placing a primary focus on product development. The launch of five new products not only strengthens SANY’s position globally but also propels the overall advancement of the entire small excavator series.
Emphasising intelligence and safety with precision, the five small excavators showcase four significant upgrades, enhancing functionality, performance, manoeuvrability, and operational safety. These improvements ensure a more flexible, convenient, and secure operating experience. Key upgrades include the addition of two sets of auxiliary lines and one set of quick-change lines, along with a standard rear camera providing a 15 percent wider field of view. Standardised global product configurations have increased the generalisation rate to 75 percent.
The new models boast an upgraded appearance for improved aesthetics, featuring a 20 percent taller cover for smoother aerodynamics and an 8 percent increase in thermal balance. The new cabin is equipped with intelligent controls, Bluetooth, and multi-functional key panels, achieving a 20 percent higher cabin sealing rate.
SY60C
The SANY SY60C introduces a smart touch screen and ePower battery management module, an integrated one-touch start button and knob, an upgraded shovel for diverse construction conditions, and intelligent attachment matching for different customers and regions.
SY75C
For the SY75C, enhanced hydraulic performance is highlighted, with the auxiliary line’s end upgraded to a ball diverter and a standard floating shovel function. The new cabin interior setup provides more legroom by moving the foot valve to the front.
SY80U
The SY80U features a multi-functional touch screen integrating radio and air-conditioning control, facilitating the operation and switching of 20 types of attachments. Optional features include a 260-kg counterweight and a 1.6-meter short bucket arm, enhancing stability and expanding application scenarios for various projects.
SY95C
In the case of the SY95C, options include an anti-explosive valve and quick-change line, along with a standard floating shovel function. Choices of a standard 1.7-meter and a long 2.1-meter bucket arm cater to diverse customer demands. The upgraded driving gear offers two options of steel or rubber tracks to accommodate various road conditions, and the 450mm tall shovel improves bulldozing efficiency.
SY135C
The SY135C introduces an all-new armrest box design and interior colour blend, exuding a futuristic vibe. This model features a hoisting function with dynamic and automatic weighing and lifting, including an overload alarm for intelligent, accurate, and safe operation.

By introducing advanced small excavators tailored for global needs, the company not only transforms the construction landscape but also solidifies its position as an industry leader. SANY’s commitment to enhanced functionality, performance, and adaptability underscores its unwavering dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions worldwide.
